Wrap-Around Care

We are proud to offer our own on-site, wrap-around care provision; Kids Mix. This consists of a breakfast club and after-school club run by Mr Cobley, as a qualified level 4 Sports Coach he is able to offer excellent sports provision as part of the after-school club.

Kids Mix have their own designated space within school called Owl classroom, this is the perfect space for children to relax, socialise and engage in all the wonderful activities on offer. Children have use of the field, playground and hall for their sports sessions. They can also use the reading garden and woods for den building.

Breakfast Club runs from 7.50am to 8.40am and children are dropped directly to their classroom doors. Our staff will pass on any messages from home so that your child can start the school day smoothly, with their teacher knowing all they need to know.

Children can choose from a selection of warm and cold breakfast food including fruit, cereal, yoghurt and toast. Special seasonal breakfasts will be served from time to time including hot cross buns at Easter and pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. All dietary requirements will be catered for.

Breakfast club costs £5 per session and is payable via SCOPAY.

After-school Club runs from 3pm to 5.45pm and children are collected from their classrooms and taken to Owl classroom. Mr Cobley is supported by our school support staff who run a craft based activity while he leads the sports session. Children can choose whether to take part in the Sports or Craft Session. The structure of Kids Mix after-school club is as follows:

  • 3pm - 3.15pm - Light Healthy Snack - fruit salad or crudities
  • 3.15pm - 4.30pm - Free play including board games, colouring, den building, climbing frame play, sports and a choice of structured activity
  • 4.30pm - 5pm - Cold Tea - sandwiches/wrap, crudities, yoghurt and fruit
  • 5pm - 5.30pm - Free play including board games, colouring, den building, climbing frame play, sports and a choice of structured activity
  • 5.30pm - 5.45pm - Wind-down time - TV time, colouring or story time

After-School Club is £15 per session and £14 on Fridays as it finishes at 5.30pm.
